SQA Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate SQA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and ensuring high-quality software delivery throughout the development lifecycle.You will work closely with developers, product managers, and UI/UX teams to improve product quality and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases
  • Perform manual and automated software testing
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve software defects
  • Validate software functionality, usability, and responsiveness
  • Perform API testing and database validation
  • Prepare test reports and quality documentation
  • Ensure software meets business and user requirements
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC
  • Experience with manual testing and automation testing tools
  • Familiarity with Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of API testing and bug tracking systems
  • Understanding of web and mobile application testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to write clear test cases and reports

Nice to Have

  • Experience with automation frameworks
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum workflows
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge
  • Experience with security and performance testing
  • ISTQB or related QA certification
